While Barbie seemed to be assimilating quite nicely into the various environments assigned to her over the years - veterinarian's office, lifeguard chair, NASA-it's in a shopping mall that Ms. B truly seems in her element. And what a sizable and comprehensive mall this is. It sports a hair salon where the fashion-conscious plastic doll can get a complete makeover or just a light touch up, a shoe store with a musical shoe stand, a clothing boutique, and numerous other shops. There's even an ATM, which makes a lot of sense given all the shopping to be done. What makes the mall really fun, however, are the zillions of tiny accessories - shoes, flowers, brushes, combs, outfits, and many more details that will make for hours of fun at the mall. Fun, but not very durable.
I bought this for my 8 year old for Christmas.She loves it.However, it is VERY cheaply made.It arrived with a slight crack in the floor.With just normal use, parts constantly fall off.I re-assemble this thing almost weekly.I paid $100 plus shipping for this toy.For that much money, it should at least stay together.
Even though my daughter enjoys it, I am very disappointed in this product.

Lots of fun, but many tiny pieces
My daughter loves this (even though her other barbies aren't played with much). My major complaint is the pellet pet food- do yourself a favor and discard it. The tiny rabbits and frogs tend to get lost, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind. She has spent many happy hours with it. Well worth the purchase!

We love it!
I purchased this a few months ago for my eight-year-old's birthday - it is one of her favorite toys!She is not a Barbie collector, but plans on owning a pet store some day, so this was perfect.I can even have fun pretending with her - we take turns being the shop owner and customer (I love to drive her nuts with customers calling in with crazy questions, while she's "ringing up" my total!).This is not something she can have out when her tornado of a little brother is around (too many small pieces), but she enjoys setting it up for some good pretend time when he's asleep!
All in all, it's a great toy, with small pieces but lots of nice surprises - animal sounds, a cash register that opens, and a hamster that runs around his cage (he's magnetic, you control him from behind the wall) and even a hamster wheel.Lots of fun!

It's cute and all for a barbie lover but theres not that many pets -a couple of rabbits a dog a cat a hamsterand a bird wowthats a lot -NOT

Yeah Ijust dont see anyone buying this unless their on a barbie spree the 'toy' itself is kind of bulky and i had a hard time trying to find a good place to put it

Summertime Fun
My daughter got this Barbie pool last year (when she was 5) and it has kept her VERY busy this summer.It seems a little small for Barbie dolls, but her Kelly dolls, Polly Pocket dolls and Strawberry Shortcake figurines have a wonderful time swimming, and taking swim lessons from Barbie.

Leaking Pool

This Toy Is So Cool Girls!!!
This kitchen is nice and simple yet modern and classy. It has a table and chairs for a few barbies. A dish washer and pots and pans.It also comes with some real looking food. This toy will make a kitchen stand out . Ask it for your B-Days And Christmas Girls!!!

Kids weren't interested
I bought 2 of these toys for my daughters for Christmas, but they showed very little interest in them.It's now May, and they have barely played with them at all.Apart from the fact that the palace isn't really big enough for a full-sized barbie, it's also very flimsy.

Do not buy this toy!!!
I purchased this toy for my six year old.There were not problems with her playing with it. But I consider it too be a danger to little ones.I had this toy on the shelf of a bookcase/toybox, which was not high at all, when my daughter was looking for something in her box, the kitchen fell down and hit her on the head, it has points at all sides and the doors that open up also have points on it, well all I can say is that she can screaming to me with blood running down her face, the way it fell the point cut her in the head, thank goodness it was not worse but it could have been.I took it and threw it away.So if you do purchase this please just keep this in mind. fun, but somtimes breakes.
this doll house is very fun until.... snap! some part of the house breakes. i think that they should make the door more sturdy. it breaks all the time. and also the bed, it falls off too. (pretty hard to fix.) i would recomend that parents should get a different one beacuse they will conplain about it breaking, then asking will you fix it? will you? so that's why i gave it 4 stars overall beacuse it is very fun. but it breaks all the time.

save your money and time putting on stickers
Just go ahead and find the Barbie play and store dollhouse...it is HUGE, very nice, and very DURABLE...My daughter plays with her my little pony toys in it more than Barbies...but that is her 1st choice of toys....PLEASE do yourself a favor and and purchase the Barbie play and store doll house at TRU.....well worth the money spent...btw, purchase some furniture @KB!!!

My daughter received this townhouse 2 years ago for xmas. she was 8 years old and loved it. she is now 10 years old and still loves to plays with it often.I tried to give it away to her 3 year old cousin and she was upset with me. Guava Gulch is Great!
This is an extremely detailed set in "realistic" colours - not the average Barbie pink.Both my daughter (4 years old) and I play with it - she loves it because it is so "grown up" in appearance and so do I!The quality is high, with sturdy plastic, not flimsy, and I foresee it lasting quite a long time with care.This toy is definitely a long term investment that we will be getting a lot of play value out of over the years.

Too Cool
My parents got this for me and I love it. The idea of a tiki lounge is really cool. The furniture is very tropical and cool. I love the acessories and the furniture. I love this set and it is so much to play with.
