Yeah - Lots of People Complain with Dumb Reasons
People complain about that 'fake grin' on the dolls' faces.WELL, GUESS WHAT?I'd be shocked to find the Bratz's or even Barbie's makeup-coated 'collectible' faces on dolls that are supposed to represent eight-year-olds!I like to see eight-year-olds smiling, even with teeth showing.It shows that they're happy, and enjoying their childhood.

"I played with Stacie as a child, and she isn't the same anymore." Well, maybe she's changed for the better.She has more friends now, and I like her unbendable legs.That way, she can stand up.See how the label isn't "Stacie" anymore, but rather "Wee Three Friends"?More diversity, people!

"Breasts on eight-year-olds?"I had those TINY BREASTS when I was eight.

"They're so cheap!"Hmmm...maybe, because they are TOYS, not meant to be 'collectibles'?I don't see the freaking need to make girls' toys into collectibles.These are just being modest toys, not idols, or collectibles.Keep it simple.

"They are such wannabe fashion dolls!"(Sigh)These people completely miss the point.These are FRIENDSHIP DOLLS, not fashion dolls.They are not wannabe fashion dolls, because they are NOT TRYING TO BE!

Don't ask.I'm a Bratz fan, but I think these are better for children.

Don't worry about the photo.The dolls come with a lot more than just that.There's plastic bottles; cameras - a lot more than what the photo shows.
The dolls are very strong.They have feet, and they stand up alone.They have an excellent friendship theme.Amd they are not anorexic.
The dolls are fun.I like them better than bratz.

Skipper, Barbie’s kid sister, just barely passes as "Velma," the dowdy egghead from hit 70s cartoon "Scooby Doo." She’s a bit taller and thinner than the "real" Velma, but who else would try this? Barbie herself wouldn’t take the assignment, after she got one look at that orange-and-red monstrosity of an outfit. If the scruffy turtleneck or rolled knee socks didn’t make Babs say "ruh-roh!" the pleated mini-skirt sans undies would. So brave little Skipper is left to the task of wearing the stuff, holding up her mushroom hairdo in pride (or is she just trying to keep her over-sized spectacles from falling off?). Scooby-Doo Review
This toy is a funny great weird toy. The good things about this is the Scooby-Doo action figure,The toy shoes are funny ,and the socks are ok. The bad things are the weird dress,the weird glasses and the,REALLY REALLY CREEPY HAIR ITS AS STICKY AS DOUNUT GLASE BUT WON'T COME OF AND THE SHAPE THEY PUT IT IN MAKES IT LOOK LIKE A UNBRELLA WITHOUT THE POST.

I don't know why everyone had given this doll a bad review,I think she is absolutely adoreable!She has the cutest yellow stocking and platform shoes.My daughter loves Scooby Doo and she loves this doll.I will admit the hair is a little weird but Velma is supposed to be a nerd isn't she?Any way it is a cute doll for a great Price.I reccomend it to anyone who loves Scooby Doo! ... Madison is my fave! Soon i am going to get the myscene party pad that in canada comes with a myscene MM madison and i cant wait! I am going to pretend that the myscene and bratz are best friends and theyre all hanging out at the party pad. go girls!

Remarkable!
Ok I finally got her and I am impressed. At first i was stingy with my thirty bucks but i decided it was a great madison for my collection so I BOUGHT HER!!!! She has fabulous accessories she comes with two bags, a nice pink and purple and blue dress, a flower for her hair, two clips, two pairs of shoes (i don't really like the second pair) cute purple seethrough scarf (a little big but nice nontheless, and a purple stand, and that liptstick tube and stuff, OH AND THE NICE COAT!!!!! The second outfit on this madison makes her look like a well dressed raven baxter! If you don't like how raven baxter looks than maybe you won't be too big of a fan of her. Really cool makeup and I luv her hair instead of brown with blonde highlights they went a dark dark brown terminated the highlights. She has dusky blue eyes and well Nice makeup nice everything thumbs up! Kids weren't interested
I bought 2 of these toys for my daughters for Christmas, but they showed very little interest in them.It's now May, and they have barely played with them at all.Apart from the fact that the palace isn't really big enough for a full-sized barbie, it's also very flimsy.

The coolest Barbie!
I bought the Teresa and Barbie versions of this doll for both of my daughters. I had more fun with it I think. I collected Barbies when I was younger and never did i get a Barbie this cool. With each you can make 4 or 5 different outfits. There are many accessories. And best of all her hair is cool, her clothes are fun, and the imagination with this doll is endless. I highly recommend this Barbie if not for your child but for you as well.

ok, how awesome are her clothes? but seriously, i only got the doll for the clothing for my MY SCENE dolls....;) CHECK IT OUT........SHE IS WEARING MY SCENE BOOTS!!!! Typical Barbie
This "Movie Star Christie" Barbie models a purple dress, a purple feather boa and has a few accessories.She is nothing special...just a typical Barbie doll.She has the cheap plastic accessories, and cheaply-made material for her clothes.If you are looking for a regular Barbie, than this is the one to get, but if you want to get an exciting doll that has cooler accessories, pay the extra dollar and get a Bratz or My Scene doll (another Mattel product.)I hope this review helped. ... A Grandma's review
I am a Grandmother of 12. I enjoy playing with the set. However
the grandma could use more grey hair. It would be nice if grandpa could sit down.
It would also be nice if you could make them the skin color of
Shani doll. I agree that the set takes a great deal of care for a six year old. Help for the stiff hair: take the clothes off and rinse the hair in cool water with-out getting water down the neck.

I like this toy a lot but the grandpa's head looks like it is about to fall off. The one chair with the booster seat does not unfold right. And there is a lot os small pieces that can get lost easily. Another thing is that the little card board pieces rip easily. One other thing that I do not like it that the grandparents hair is as hard as a rock. Other than that this kitchen is okay.

bizarro people chill
First of all, I have to say as a homebirth-ing mother that my daughter is 4 years old and she knows where her little brother came from.I think it is perfectly freaky to try to keep secret the origins of human life from other humans.

I love Midge...big love for Midge.My main problem with this toy is that the womb-baby is too tiny and therefore EASY TO LOSE. Then you just have Midge with her big belly and you have to pretend there is a baby inside, which is fun, too.Why doesn't Mattel sell the babies separately?It would save a lot of headaches around my house.

The only other problem I have is that Midge is still a Barbie and therefore not even close to being anatomically correct.I am very disturbed by the high rates of unnecessary cesaerian-section births being performed in this country, and I don't think a nation of children growing up thinking that babies are SUPPOSED to be born out of your tummy is going to help things.

A really great toy
Ok, first things first. Read the suggested age limit!!!!! That is put their for a reason!!!!! Before I tell the pros and cons of this doll I would like to make something clear:
This doll is really great! I love it and I have read every single review on this GREAT product!! Those of you who are worried about this product get a grip! If you disagree with this product get on the show Nanny 911. That is for people who are new with kids and have problems DEALING WITH THEM!!!!!
This product is good for teaching kids about the "birds and the bees." But consider your child's age level!! Ages 1-3 should NOT have this product!! Ages 4-6 only need a small amount of info, such as, "Midge goes to the hospital and the doctor takes the baby out, than Midge comes home." THAT IS ALL THE INFO THEY NEED OR WANT!!!!! YOU DO NOT NEED TO EXPLAIN ABOUT "THE BIRDS AND THE BEES YET!" Ages 7-9 can take more. Increase the info u give by the age of the child.
I am sorry if I sound mean but you should be surprised on the amount of people out there who have kids without knowing how to deal with them, which makes me very mad! TAKE PARENTING CLASSES BEFORE YOU HAVE KIDS OR AT LEAST CRACK OPEN A PARENTING BOOK!!!! IF YOU ALREADY HAVE KIDS YOU CAN STILL LEARN MORE!!!
Now about this product.... It is really great! The baby is very cute and Midge is very pretty. She has a WEDDING ring on that will not fall off. She is quite durable with gentle handling (Once again read the age limit!) and she has some small pieces. The crib is clever how it changes into a changng table and the whole set is great! Buy this product if you don't already have it!!!!
Back to where I'm angry. Do you cover your child's eyes when you see a pregnant woman? Do you simply say she is fat? I don't know about you,but I don't like being called fat. If you want to go against something go against Bratz, My Scenes, and those Cali Barbie things! Those are nasty looking and promote midriff tops and other bad things that are not for children.

a great gift for the budding Barbie collector
This is not for collectors, but is a great gift for the future collectors of Barbie.

She is a wonderful delight in her blue and purple gown.Details such as shoes, won't please collectors, but for that daughter or niece who cannot seem to stay away from your Barbies, they will me THRILLED.She has a lovely face and rich chestnut hair.

Happy Mother of 2 girls!
I bought this doll for my 3 1/2 year old girl along with Odette and the Unicorn and carriage.My 3 year old just loves them but I think they are just to pretty to play with.She really likes the necklace that came with Teresa.The necklace lights up and flashes.It is easy to put on and off also.My one year old wanted to play with them also but I had to take them away as I didn't want her to ruin them.This is the second barbie I have bought and I am very pleased with it although I paid a fraction of the cost of it, I still would recommend it to others.

Very pretty doll
My 4 y/o daughter received this doll for Christmas along with Barbie of Swan Lake.She actually wanted this one more than Barbie.I don't blame her.The dress is very pretty and nicely made, especially the sleeves.She somes with a beautiful wand and crown, and gorgeus hair-which is a little difficult to keep neat.I think she also came with a light up necklace for the child to wear, which of course any little girl would enjoy. ... I absolutly love the california girl Barbie line..It is wonderful! I recived this Teresa Barbie doll for my birthday a couple of months ago..Her make-up is great and her clothes are very californian styled..I recomend these dolls for ages 4 1/2 and up. I am 12 years old and Barbies are my absolute favorite dolls!

I HATE MY SCENE!
It makes me mad- Everyone is sayin' that "My Scene" Is better than Bratz and Barbie..Can you not tell how ugly these dolls REALLY are!!???? And they come with really lame, cheap accessories whilst the Bratz accessories are the bomb! And Barbie is like the queen of all dolls...No other doll will EVER EVER EVER be as popular as her!!!

I love it
Everybody says that Madison's hair matted but mine didn't at all and I use her a lot. She looks exactly like beyonce and is beautiful. She has an awesome two-tone jumpsuit with belt. she has a gold necklace and cuff bracelet. She also has a compact,clutch purse, and strappy sandels. Sutton is awesome too. He has cool hair and awesome clothes. He has a gray shirt with plum tie, velvet vest, and velvet pants. He also comes with a cell phone. These toys rock and are my favorite in the Night On The Town collection.

Penelope Plush Dragon
Girls will love bringing Penelope the magical dragon to life! They can play out all their favorite scenes from the "Barbie as Rapunzel" movie with this lovable, huggable dragon. Penelope is a soft, huggable plush dragon. She has beautiful wings that really flap! When kids squeeze her tummy, Penelope whispers special secrets! She's Barbie's good friend!

My little girl is in love with this toy!
She thinks it is just great.She really like to hear Penelope say "I have a secret", she then puts her ear to Penelope's nose and Penelope whispers "You are so beautiful" or "Together we can do anything".

A Great Toy!
My daughter got this along with her Barbie as Rapunzel doll. She is thrilled to have gotten Penelope and has great fun with it. It stimulates her imagination, is a lot of fun and seems soft, yet durable. The wings are a bit stiff, but it seems to make this more 'dragonlike'. My daughter hasn't complained and she hasn't hurt herself so they're not that bad. This would make a great addition to any Barbie as Rapunzel collection. ... Read more
