Totally regret buying this toy....
It is very unstable. I am constantly trying to put it back together. The pieces fall off of it all the time. It was the worst purchase Ive made for my daughter.If I could take it back, I would.

No Elevator
I was reading thru the reviews and found that some people thought there would be an elevator! I thought I was the only one! I believed from product descriptions and television commercials that there would be an elevator. A working elevator or not, I wasn't sure but I believed there would actually be an elevator, but there is no elevator. Just some stairs, and in many descriptions it says "Real working elevator" and yet nothing.

Other than that I think the castle is great, I have had no problems with it at all, it does not fall apart easily as others have said. But I should say this: my daughter never closes the castle, her room is big enough that the castle can remain open all the time. She just loves playing with it. All the music works fine. I haven't had any problems with that either. But the wand also got stuck behind the clock on our castle too but I managed to get it out using some tweezers!! Told my daughter not to put it back there again. The drawers are deep enough but they are not wide enough, you have to take the whole drawer out to get the little pieces out of the drawer.
I also believe as someone else did that the price should have been lower, but overall it is worth it because my daughter, who is four, plays with it all day long and she really does love it!

Cheap construction, hardly musical.
I purchased this castle for my daughter. It falls apart very easily, does not stay shut when folded, and the musical part is very lilmited. I believed it would sing a song, instead, it sings ONE LINE from three songs. Overall, the cheap construction is a problem because i keep having to put it together again for my daughter. ... this toy is made cheap
I got the dream house for my 5yr old daughter for christmas it is now about 3 months later and there are so many things wrong with it the elevator was hard for her to use to begin with the bathtub keeps coming out the bed has already broke for the price I paid for this toy I expected better quilty I don't thing this house is worth more than $50 and even if I found it some where for $50 I still don't think I would recomend this house.

Coolest house
I got this for Christmas and it is really fun!Once you get alot of accessories in it,you will have a ball!But,with or without,it's still fun and bigger than the Happy Family house it has more space,and it is fun!

Barbie Dream House Playset
This is one of the best Barbie houses Mattel has ever created! It has a kind of old fashion class to it. It has an elevator that the dolls can go on. To make it work, you just turn the handel and Barbie can get up to her bedroom. It has a lovely old-fashioned balcony and its got really pretty detailing to it.It is also one of the first houses to have a door bell! It also has a luxurious bath tub so Barbie can bath and relax. It has a toilet, but it doesn't open. It has a very small table and i'm pretty sure it has two chairs. It has a lovely sofa, and at the front near the doorbell, there is also a mailbox so Barbie can step outside and get the morning paper! What is UP with this????????
Barbie is a hore! She is going out with Blance in Cali Girl set, Ken in a lot of stuff, River AND Ellis in the My Scene! They are teaching girls to go out with a boy one day and go out with another one the next! This is a stupid love triangle.

Yeah, This is REAL Cool.....
Note to all of you reading this, my title is being sarcastic. I wouldn't take this unless somebody held a gun to my head. The boy doll (River) is okay although he should loose those dorky shorts. But Barbie looks like Christina Aguilera on crack! She looks like she's looking off into nowhere or like she's spaced out or something.

Action figures need not apply! That's only because there's not a whole lot of action going on in this lounge set designed to accommodate Barbie and her friends from the fashionable teen-oriented My Scene collection. Not that they mind listening to a little music now and then. The large circular coffee table can actually be used to store full-size CDs and the included jack can be used to connect the set to a stereo and get the party in motion. A spinning disco ball adds to the scene and is illuminated by small red and green lights. The side of the lounge features a pull-out dance floor in case someone gets the urge to stop lounging and boogie a little. And perhaps that someone will be Nolee, one of Barbie's ultra-cool friends, included here. Nolee wears a green and purple party dress with a bit of lace frill and she does look a little sad lounging here all alone. But once other My Scene figures are added, or even some action figures who don't mind relaxing once in a while, the party will be complete.Two AA batteries are included for demonstration purposes but will need to be replaced soon. --John Moe ... Very, very nice.
I must say that I love this toy! First off, the sound lounge is great and lots of fun but sadly the dolls can't actually stand up in it. On the other hand, it is super-durable and my small cousin actually took it mostly apart then I reassembled it! It was fine. BUT it is very hard to get the table-top back on if you take it off. The quality of the music could be better, and I wish the batteries had lasted longer, but that's partly my fault for letting my siblings play with it. Did I mention the DJ booth? Second, the Nolee is gorgeous and her dress is perfect. However her earrings are not removeable unlike the others. Her hair is silky had she has beautiful makeup, although this time she has brown eyes instead of purple.... But if you buy it for your little girl around five you might want to wait a year. Basically,it's a great toy and your daughters/nieces/granddaughters will love it.

!Cool Madison !
I got this Madison doll last year for my Birthday. Since my Birthday was in Summer and we have a pool Madison and her Wave-Rider were at the top of my list. I was overjoyed when I opened the present to see her, I had also gotten Jamin' in Jamica Barbie.

I easily set up the Wave-Rider and it auctually floats on water! In the pool we made soem waves and she and teh wave rider auctually went over some ...and some she didn't...XD But other than that...Here is a - + list

+ She has cool water resistant clothes that easily dry if wet
+ Her hair does not get soaked no matter how much you put her in the water her hair almost instantly dries when you take her out
- The wave rider was a little hard to put together
+ The wave rider floated!
+ Madison came with nice make-up and the colors looked good on her
+ Cute acessories!

Gotta get better than this.....
I bought this for my 3 and 4 year old girls and they were so excited to get it-I myself am a Hair Salon owner so they were so anxious to "Copy" mommy. The problem is the station always topples over, the chair for the sink does not lounge all the way back so the dolls head is hovering above the sink, and the hair extensions are impossible to keep on the doll with the clips that are supplied-aside from the fact that they immediately become a huge hairball after a few uses. It is cute..... and I do like the detail of all the accessories included, but Mattel could find a better way to make all these Barbie things a bit less wobbly so my kids can breathe without the thing falling over just from the air coming out of their bodies.

i relly don't know what to say about this toy. is is so flimsy and these magical accecories ARE SO tiny. oh and christie and barbie and treresea mast really hate each other for two resons. i cristine this toy salon bowling mayhem! i tried to get christie to keep the spiders oops i mean hair extentions to stay on her head but they caught on to teresea's hand which pulled her and knocked out barbie and splling water then knoking the playset down.this reallly seams like war or wrestiling! and they also hate one another for bothering to come to this cheap salon!wihch ever doll decided to come her probably got beat up! i hate this toy! Missing one thing
I bought this for my Eight year old daughter who absolutly adores it. I agree the bags and boxes seem useless. The cute little ice cream floats and lollipops make it a fun place for Barbie and her friends to hang out and snack. I love the little oven. My daughter prentends to make up all kinds of treats for Barbie. The chalk board makes it fun for my daughter to change the "daily specials". But has anyone noticed that on the side of the treat shop there is a hole and a hook? As if the should be an arm that slides down to keep it closed. I didn't see it mentioned in the directions so I'm assuming there isn't one. The little pieces can be kept in zippy bags instead.

Pure Fun!
I bought this for my step-daughter and we rushed home to set it up and by no means were we disappointed. There was so much detailed items to inspire the imagination for us we played for 3 hours! I loved it.

Barbie Sweet Shop
I purchased this for my eight year old, and she really enjoys it.It was pretty easy to put together, and she likes the fact that the cash register opens up with a "credit card" revealing paper money inside.The only negative thing I have to say about this product, are about the gift boxes and bags that go with the set.They are put together like origami, and it's very annoying, being that they are made from very thin paper, thus having my daughter come to me often, asking me to fix them.(That should also be a warning for parents of younger children, as the paper is bound to get torn and ripped apart.)Other than that, it's a very cute product. ... Hours of fun
I got this for my four year old daughter's birthday, and it is by far one of her favorite toys!It is a toy I enjoy playing with her!It is very detailed and realistic (comes with fry basket, soft drink machine, several food items, headphone for the "drive thru Barbie" and trays for the "customers")It does come with many parts requiring assembly, though, so I would suggest putting it together the night before, as I did, so your little one can get it and be ready to play!This was absolutely well worth the money, as my daughter has played with it nearly every day! ... Surf shop tips over
This toy would be fun for my 5 year old if we could keep it from tipping over! My daughter has a doll house that we purchased when she was just 2 and it is very sturdy. We re-arranged the furniture so that she could put the Surf Shop and a beauty salon playset on the top floor. The surf shop items are constantly tipping over and the little assessories fall out of the dollhouse and onto the bedroom floor where our dog promptly picks them up and chews on them. ... Read more

We're not sure exactly how it happened from a time and space perspective, but it appears that Barbie is suddenly back in high school and hanging out with the hip crowd. In this two doll set, we meet her pals Madison and Sutton. I HATE MY SCENE!
It makes me mad- Everyone is sayin' that "My Scene" Is better than Bratz and Barbie..Can you not tell how ugly these dolls REALLY are!!???? And they come with really lame, cheap accessories whilst the Bratz accessories are the bomb! And Barbie is like the queen of all dolls...No other doll will EVER EVER EVER be as popular as her!!!

I love it
Everybody says that Madison's hair matted but mine didn't at all and I use her a lot. She looks exactly like beyonce and is beautiful. She has an awesome two-tone jumpsuit with belt. she has a gold necklace and cuff bracelet. She also has a compact,clutch purse, and strappy sandels. Sutton is awesome too. He has cool hair and awesome clothes. He has a gray shirt with plum tie, velvet vest, and velvet pants. He also comes with a cell phone. These toys rock and are my favorite in the Night On The Town collection.

SHOPPING SPREE
This is a cool shop for the girls to gust go and shop untill they drop!!it is not the best one of all the shops but it is still cool!!!It comes with cool accesories and a place to hange there clothes!!!If you have all these Little shops you could make a mall!!!!I think the girl need to hange out and this one is the right one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Class furniture and pretty good accessories.
I just bought my second one of these, which is the best proof the first one was great. My boutique needed more matching racks, though, and I wanted to do the armoire as a closed entertainment center with doors and the half-round chest as solid front, both in cherry-wood or mahogany-colored paint. Sheet plastic and paint for plastics, like Plaid brand, that's all it takes. The armoire has another incarnation now as Chelsea's wardrobe. There, the drawers look to work. Here, they are strictly decorative shapes.

The antique style cash register is so cool. If the drawer had come out (or those on the furniture), they probably would have doubled the cost of the set, so I'm not really complaining. But if you have two you can hack the drawer front off one and carefully excavate away the drawer front on the other, build the drawer, and have something in better quality. Can you tell I'm using these as a base for my own customizations?

As they sit, they are much classier than the stuff normally brought out for poor Barbie (all that low-rider pink furniture) and definitely beat stores that are mostly cardboard. Nothing could be called poorly done or cheesy. Articles for the boutique to sell like cosmetics bottles and jewelry (in colored plastic) are included besides a pair of shoes and what others have mentioned. At under $15, this is a complete steal-banditry. They are so inexpensive you can afford to hack them up for customs or just buy the whole series. The My Scene scene accessories have not disappointed me yet.

you are getting your money worth
This item totally suprised me.When I first saw it in the store I thought I was ony going to get the furniture. I never thought for only $$$, I would get the pair of shoes, the shoe boxes, and the shopping bags etc. I was so surprised that it came with all of the accesories that was on the box excluding the dolls.I was truely pleased with this product.I would not recomend for kids ten and under (safety hadzord). ...
