A durable easy-to-use muti-purpose bag and cute too
Well, if you have a portable gaming system like Original GameBoy, GameBoy Pocket, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, GameBoy SP, Sega Game Gear, Sega Nomad, Game.com, or even the newest Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, you can use this for all of them.Put the sytem in there along with games, headphonee, etc. You can use this for anything that fits in the bag really. It has a built-in plasic compartment that can be lifted.I especially like the colors, very cheerful.

Don't let the Pokemon on the cover make you not want to buy this item. Besides that it's great. The case carries a Color Game Boy, two games properly ( I'm guessing if you just stick games in at random you'll be able to fit about 6+), and Game Boy hardware, and trading cards. So a great case for GameBoy fan. Buy and enjoy.

A pretty good deal
Since GameBoy Advance Came on the market GameBoy Colors have been pretty hard to find. The only places you'll normally find them are in pawn shops, old game shops or e-bay. I, untill now, have not seen a single GameBoy Color being sold in a major retailer in about 4 years. Not only is it hard to find new, factory sealed GameBoy colors, but the games sometimes can be even harder to find new and in mint condition. Sure, it looks a bit pricey, but think about it, you're getting a mint new gameboy Color, two games, a screan light, and a link cable. All of which are new! Not only is the GameBoy new, its limited edition, which means not as many of them were made as the normal colors. In the eyes of a colector or a true Pokemon fan, it is priceless.

Concept good -- toy not so good.
I bought this for my four year old son.The pieces are very small and instructions too difficult for a child under eight.Also, you can put together either Torchik or Combusken, but not both.There are enough eye and beak stickers to make each one three times and the stickers might be reused. You would only need about four more pieces to make both at the same time, which is frustrating.The directions are very difficult to follow, which is the norm with these small Lego sets.

The pieces are very small and Torchik's head feathers fall off a lot.His beak sticker also falls off because of the location. Cannot recommend.It is fine if you want to set it up on a shelf, but not good to play with.You certainly wouldn't want to battle with it.

The best thing is the large Poke ball the set comes in, which is a nice size and good for storing the pieces or other things.It is difficult for a small child to open because of the latch, but an eight year old or coordinated younger child would do fine.

We also own the Pichu - Pikachu version.It is slightly better because of better stickers (the ear accent stickers are cute) and no pieces which are easily knocked off.It would get one more star. ... Read more

Fun, but lacks in Competitive Edge
This is a good start for someone who wants to start their pokemon collecting and playing. Other than that, this product isn't where to spend your money: The exclusive cards are very weak, the rest of the cards in the deck aren't strong at all, and this deck costs a full 3$ (on average) more than the other, better pre-constructed deck.

I would suggest getting the EX Team Rocket Returns "James Theme" or EX Dragon "Windblast". ... or EX Hidden Legends "Wish Maker".(these are the best Decks, but the other ones all serve as good templates to start constructing your own deck). ... Read more

Best ever --- that is, until Ruby/Sapphire comes
Pokemon Crystal is a great game and with a GBC included, this is gonna be fantastic. Pokemon Crystal is just like its predecessors Gold & Silver.

Pros:
- The ability to choose to play as a boy or a girl
- Defending Pokemon perform animations when sent into battle
- New Suicune side-plot
- New Unown side-plot
- Game intro is different from Gold & Silver, and IMO more entertaining

Cons:
- GBC/A only
- Like G/C, only has a certain amount of Pokemon
- Not as good as the upcoming Ruby/Sapphire versions

Overall Crystal is near perfect but still has the same flaws as Gold & Silver versions. I suggest saving money for the Ruby/Sapphire versions coming early 2003.

The best collectors item
This game, Pokemon Green, is the now known "blue" version in Japan. When they translated this item into English, They called it Pokemon Blue. Pokemon Green has many extras in it including: ;new items similar to the Gold and Silver versions ;new pokemon to choose from in the beginning ;and, it's in hirogana (the native japanese language)

This game is fun! You could call it a mix of gold, silver, and the blue version. It does cost a little, but it's worth it's weight to collectors aswell as hobbiests.

my uncle just sent me this for christmas and it is just alright.you really have to know what you are doing.I would recommend the gold and silver over this anyday.

I rated the cards fivestar because it comes with excellent cards.I gave it 3 stars in durabilaty because there cards and can easily be ripped but they are not hard to take care of If you want to you can keep them in great condition.I gave the educational value 2 stars because theres not that much math to be done however lots of play with this deck and other cards would eventually master you at small addition and subtraction.I think its a good deck and I was satisfied when I bought it.

GREAT game, I don't know why it's not still huge!
this game is AWSOME! I usually end up playing against myself, though, but if you go to pokemon.com, there is a league locator to find a league (kinda like a club) and I would recomend buying a deck like this, not just tons of booster packs, you save about $40! I gave the fun rating a 5, because it IS really fun, the educational value a 3 because it doesn't have stuff like division, but it has basic addition and subtraction, and every now and then multiplication, and of course, the durability a 2, some of my cards are wrinkled, ripped, and smudged just from a glass of water, so to keep them safe, buy a book, a box, or just keep them away from cups and kids under 4 or 5. I hope this review helps everyone.

A Good Game That Has a Lot of Potential
This game was an almost exact copy of blue and red version. The biggest differance in the first part of the game is tha attacks, pokemon, and trainer's names. Until you get towards the end it can get verrrrrry tiring. Then Bill will show up and start giving you rides to the hidden islands where you can get every singl pokemon made! Its new wireless adapter makes multiplayer gaming easier and more fun. It will give you over 20 hours of fun gameplay that doesn't end until you cacth'em all.

Pokemon the greatest game
I haven't got this game yet,but I've seen it the graphics are awesome.The gameplay is the best,the sound is great.I have some tips for you.1.start off with a fire pokemon it makes it easier to beat grass types.2.never get too excited about the game you will lose.3.their is too many pokemon to catch

I have to say, I (...)love pokemon. Most kids my age don't like Pokemon and think its for babies. ITS NOT. I love all the pokemon games. My first was Pokemon RED. I like Pokemon Fire red and i play it everyday. The only thing that i dont like About it is the wirless thing. It Doesnt go that far. Also, i can Never find anyone in the union room. I wish they made a new wireless adapter that could go about 100 or 125 feet through walls. That Would be awesome.
