Great fun for my son!
Wish I had a camera in hand when my 4 year old opened this. He loves Toy Story and was thrilled that he now had figures he could act out some scenes with. The only thing I was disappointed with was the spaceship is not the most durable of toys. It probably won't stay in great condition long. The doors on it are flimsy. "Mom!! This is so COOL!!!"
The exact words of my four-year-old about this toy.He loves the missile action and the lazer feature of Buzz.Also, takes a lickin and still going strong (2 year old loves it as well.)One of the cooler Buzz's...the coolest according to my son.

Not the original Buzz
My son, who loves Toy Story and will be Buzz for Halloween, got this for his birthday and was sorely disappointed.I didn't pay any attention when I bought it and never realized it was not the original with the flip out wings, the correct colors (green and purple) and the voice that says "to infinity and beyond".He knew instantly that it wasn't "the Real Buzz" and cried.The jet pack wouldn't stay on his back and the missle disappeared within minutes. (The shooting missle is not really appropriate for a 3 yr old anyway).I immediately packed it back up with all those twist ties and took it back to Toy R Us.Then I went over to the Disney store at the mall and bought the "Original Buzz" (it even says it on the box) for the same price.If you don't have a Disney store near you, the original Buzz is on sale online at Disneystore.com for $14.99.Buy that instead of this imitation!

Buzz is not made only for kids from 4-9. I am 12 and have lots of games, but I can tell you this is one of the best. Buzz is fun at all ages. He is the perfec toy. This is because he says things like "To infinity and bejonde", which teach us that we should not be afraid to move on a reach our dreams, no matter how many times we fail. What I am trying to say is that some times we forget how fun it is to play with our old toys and what they have tought us. So the last thing I am going to say is, if you are 10 or older, don't just stop buying this great toy just because it says it is for people 4-9. Mutilated Toys Are Liberated!
There are so many memorable moments from the Toy Story movie, but the scene when Sid freaks out because the toys come alive is a personal favorite.I've always assumed that the mutilated toys become liberated, and Sid reforms.Wishful thinking, I know. Anyway, when I saw the Sid's Room Gift Pack sitting on the shelf I placed it, and its counterpart, Classic Characters Gift Pack in the cart for my Toy Story loving child.This set features the toys from Sid's Room, unlike the other set, Andy's Room toys, which includes Woody and his friends.The figures are made of plastic and are intended for pretend play.They are not recommended for children younger than 3, although they don't pose a chocking hazard.They range in size from 2" x 2" to 1½" x 4".

These toys are not action figures, because they don't have moving parts, or articulation.The sculpture is excellent, although I suspect they're not up to collector's standards.Every detail is included from Roller Bob's helmet and goggles to Leg's fishing line.Baby Head has a ton of notches like the real Erector pieces, and his head has this irresistible rough texture.Buzz is the most impressive though.His helmet is made of clear plastic so we see his goofy face, but it's all the painted buttons and gadgets, which impresses me.The smallest of detail is incorporated even Buzz's cleft in his chin.

My son loves these miniature figures.He sleeps with them regularly, as I'll find them strewn under his bed, and in his sheets. William also likes to pull them out when he watches the Toy Story movies.He sets them up in front of the TV, and repeats the lines back to the figures.He's had the set for 6-months now, and I don't see any end to the fascination.

Film favorites Buzz Lightyear and Woody are back in action withtheir latest video game offering, Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 2.The cowboy Woody is in trouble in a game that closely follows the plotof the hit computer-animated flick. Although the game is obviouslyaimed at luring fans of the movie of the same name, it does containgameplay that will appeal to a wider audience. Toy Story 2 isnot a perfect game, but it captures the playability and humor of thefilm, and also has movie-quality animations and graphics.

Woody finds himself kidnapped by Al, the evil toy collector, and it'sup to Buzz to save the day--with a little help from the other toys inowner Andy's room. Buzz must venture outside Andy's house and into thelocal neighborhood. Game environments include a perilous constructionarea, a toy barn, and a sky-rise apartment. Ultimately, Buzz willconfront his arch nemesis, the Evil Emperor Zurg--but getting there ishalf the fun.

During his journey, Buzz must collect missing parts for Mr. PotatoHead. He also calls on his buddies Rex, Slinky Dog, and Hamm the piggybank for helpful tips and directions. Controls are varied but can beconfusing to master. Buzz can climb, do a "super foot stomp," fire hislaser, and perform a Space Ranger spin attack to help him get throughthe various levels.

All in all, though, this game's battle cry should be, "To mediocrity...and not much further." --Bill Hutchens

This game is very, VERY bad
Packed with ugly graphics, boring and slow gameplay, Toy Story 2 is an game that really sucks. The movie was boring, but this is worse. Disney/Pixar and Activision made an terrible diaster in every level, combining ugliness, boredom, stupidy and gameplay so bad that it is more boring then Spice World, which is an historical Lame-Game. Don' t buy it, Don' t try it, AVOID IT!!!!!!!!

GREAT FUN !!!I bought this for my four-year old and he can't stop playing it.I have to force him to put down the controller at bedtime.He loves being able to shoot buzz's laser weapon.He started off needed help, he didn't really understand the concept of the game.Which is perfectly natural, since he's never played on the playstation before.But after some coaching from his daddy and myself, he's become quite a player.He's jumping around and climbing ropes and all sorts of obstacles.He knows where everything is and knows how to get there on his own.He LOVES it!I've tried playing, although I'm not much of a game player, and I love it too!!Great game, highly recommend. ... Terrible Toy!
What a terrible toy!It never worked at all!Then it is all wet and hard to put back in box so very hard to return.My son cried and we are stuck with this terrible non working toy!Do not by this thing!

Cool toy but.......
This toy is great fun when it works.Putting petroleum jelly on the conections solved our pipe flying appart problem.The base should be heavier but reducing the warter pressure solves this.I do not like a toy to have this many problems straight out of the box but it is fun with the bugs worked out.

It's a dud!
My four year old picked this out.(yeah, I know it says five and up but it's a sprinkler!! how complicated can it be!!!!)It won't stand up no matter where you put it, and it needs to to use it right.You need to fill this lttle tiny base with water and it's just not enough to make it stand.And then the hose attachment leaks.Not worth it!! ... Woody's wild stunt show
My son just loves the toy and he is going on 3, he does not seem to mind that the skateboard does not get enough power to actually go over the ramp. It does bother me though, I think it should work, maybe we got a defective one? When you back up the wheels for the traction needed to go over the ramp it goes forward and stops at the ramp, but when you pick up the skateboard the wheels spin very fast. I guess over all it is ok, my son just loves anything to do with ramps, skateboards, bikes, motorcycles etc. and most importantly he loves Woody. ... Read more

This is the lamest game in the entire universe. A badly cel-shaded RACING platformer. Yah. You RACE guys then kill him.

This game is great! There are 8 worlds,14 levels.3 missions are in each level! You can use hyper jet packs,lasers,beam swords,bombs, and others,also hand-to-hand combat!You play as Buzz Lightyear.The game starts as:Buzz in his first year of Star Command,and he has to do missions for his captain.There are 11 bosses, each of them are tough!Usually they fight you in hand-to-hand combat!Some of the Boses are: XL, WARP DARKMATTER,ROLLTA,CANDRA,SHADOW BUZZ,AND MORE!I can't beat zurg! Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
I ordered this game for my grandson on 12/17/02.
I still have not received it and the seller has not answered my inquiries.It was suppose to be here by the 24th of Dec. and it is now the 28th.
I am not very happy about this.My daughter and my grandchildren went back home yesterday. Now, if the game ever comes,
I will have to ship it to him,so more shipping fees.As far as rating this game, of course ,that's impossible.

Great game for the whole family!!!!!
Before getting this game I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth the money.Some racing games can be a total waste of time and money.But after I started playing this game I was addicted.There are so many different types of races, racetracks, and characters to race as.You'll have hours and hours of fun if you get this game.This is a must have!!

Dreamcast Fan
I bought this game for my 6 year old son. But it is really a game for all ages. Once you start you can't stop.

Gamer and parent of a budding gamer
Like many Dreamcast ownwers probably are doing, I have been trolling for games to get cheap ones for my dead system.I have found many that both me and my 4 year old son love to play. This was not one.I was excited about this one, as my son loves Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear. After less than half an hour we both decided that this game was way too hard.

The 3-D perspective was poorly handled by the game engine.It is virtually impossible to walk a straight line regardless of the camera style you pick. Just about every jump has to be this ridiculous double wing jump.Precise moves are crucial to complete the tedious missions that even level 1 presented, and as an adult veteran of Tombraider and Spiderman, the controls for this game just made me mad. You spend all your time trying get the right position and failing to land in the right spot.How they could make a game obviously targeted a younger gamers so bloody hard to navigate is a mystery.

Envision your child controlling Buzz on a ceiling beam, trying desparately to make him walk a simple straight line, and slumping in frustration when he falls for the umpteenth time. My son loved Spiderman on the Dreamcast, and I was trying to find something similar but less mature. Toy Story 2 was horrible by comparison.Never bought a more frustrating Dreamcast game )except for maybe Qbert). Very disapointing.DO NOT BUY THIS GAME even for 5 bucks.

Good game but not for all ages.
Toy Story 2 is a good game with very good graphics.
It's almost like playing the movie that's how good it looks.
But be warned this game is for kids between (ages of 3 and 8). It's a bit difficult at first but once your kid plays it more then once, they'll get the hang of it and have fun.

This game is very easy and BORING!! I don't recommend this game for anyone!! Don't waist your money on this, you might as well just sell it at a yard-sale for all it's worth!! Save your money for a better game! Trust me it stinks horribly!!!

I rented this game at movie gallery and it was preety good the plot is great the graphics are great and te reason I gave it four stars the control is very slugish, but I really do encourage you to rent it first and go to the password and put jjww to get to the last level
