This game is pretty pretty stupid.
What is this?There's no guns or explosions or anything.You don't even get to conquer people like in Risk and Risk is pretty pretty lame to begin with.

Besides, this game can only turn little kids into snobs.If you let them think they're princesses now they're just going to keep asking for things.All they want now is a little plastic crown but in ten years they're going to be asking for the keys to Daddy's BMW so they can go canoodle with their greasy sketchy teenage boyfriends behind the K-Mart.

Don't get your daughter a Pretty Pretty Princess.Get her a job.Then she'll learn something.

Cute Gift
A co-worker just told me about this game...our daughter is still too young for this. Hope to have this when she can play it...I bought it for a good friend her daughter turns 5yrs in June...I know she will just loves this. Fire Engine for 2
I really think the construction of this is very poor and when you go to install the roof supports the fasteners that they give you are the kind that once you install them they will never come out. I think the company should have dome some more thought into it. There are diifernt kinds of fasteners that are safe for the kids that can be removed like a nylon screw with a nut. Also the roof support does not sit flush in the hole so when you go and tap the bolt in the hole the pole will shift upwards and you can miss the hole. I even tried to contact the company through their e-mail and also tried to call and no one has called me back. This was a birthday gift that I now have to try to get the roof support secured so it is safe. I will never again buy a step 2 product based on this experience. Also the front wheels they are very hard to turn. I tried to move it with nobody in it and the wheels went where ever they wanted to go except the direction that I was heading.

Daycare mom
I have had three of this item in the past 3 months and am not happy with any of them .I am returning the third one soon. Steering and wheels are not working correctly. Two children can tip it over also. I bought it for my grandchildren and the kids in my daycare center.A BIG disappointment for me and a BIG hassle to keep returning it to the factory.

don't know why other reviewers are upset with this...
I was a bit confused by what the other reviewers had to say... the light pen does come with a lightbulb I believe when the instructions say "get a lightbulb" they are referring to what you have to do to replace the lightbulb when the original one burns out... as far as things being a syrupy blur when you look through the telescope or microscope... if you pull gently on both ends you'll see that it slides apart a bit and can be adjusted, if you slide the parts back and forth and make the proper adjustments you should be able to see through both ends just fine... audio hearing device appears to be working properly as well... I was a bit leery of buying this item after reading the negative reviews but overall it seems to be working just fine for us and our munchkins...

It's good and bad
The Listening device works good. The device that you look through to look far away isn't very good all I could see was a blur. I sort of reccomend it and sort of don't. If you buy it than the listening thing is what you should use.

While there exist numerous trainable robotic dogs on the marketplace, there's something a little refreshing about a furry mechanical pup that simply does whatever he wants to. Because really, haven't we all met or even owned dogs like that? Once Go-Go is turned on, he moves back and forth on tiny wheels hidden under thick blond fur all the while pivoting at the shoulders and hips to give a more realistic depiction of walking. Go-Go is a noisy little critter as well barking and panting while moving about the floor. While the real dog movements and sounds were lots of fun, such entertainment does come at a price, in this case five "C" batteries. Ishould have listened to the reviews
I just had to buy Go Go. My daughter wanted nothing else for christmas.I had read the reviews on this website and they were pretty much 50/50.So I decided to purchase it anyway.
When she opened the box she was delighted.It was fairly easy to put in the batteries and the dog began to bark.It was very entertaining except you had to yell at it to get it's attention. It came to you, sort of.I think it just goes in circles. It would whine and bark incessantly and within in the hour we turned it off.It had lost it's luster.
The only reason my daughter plays with it is because we purchased a Smoochie puppy and she has Go Go be it's mommy.
Take your chances perhaps you will have better luck.But definately keep the box so you can return it.

This one is really annoying-aside from the fact that it is loud-it does next to nothing that it claims-save your time, money and the stress of you child saying "MOMMY THIS THING IS NOT WORKIN" RIGHT!!!"

I bought this for my 3 year old son.He always gets his alphabets mixed up but when we bought this, he finally learned to sing the alphabet correctly.As stated in previous reviews, this puzzle is very educational.The pieces are very durable and thick.I love this product and highly recommend it!!!

Excellent Puzzle
My son got this when he was two and a half. He is going on three now and still LOVES it. I love it because the pieces are really big and they are easy for him to handle. He never tires of this puzzle. Great buy!!!

Entertaining way to learn the ABC's
I was very disappointed when I tried to buy this puzzle for my 2 1/2 year old for Christmas because it was sold out everywhere I looked.Lucky for us Grandma came through and found one.Am I glad she did!

My son is a HUGE train fan, and this puzzle is not only fun for him to play with, but he's learning his ABC's and doesn't even know it.The puzzle pieces are fantastic--very large and easy for little hands to manipulate.The pictures are very clear and recognizable.He will sit and play with it for 20 minutes at a time, which any mother of an active 2 1/2 year old will tell you is amazing!

Rockin'!
Although it's supposed to be for three years and up, I bought it for my daughter's first birthday. I figured that we could have fun with it anyway. I couldn't have been more right. From the moment she saw it, she only wanted to play on the horse. Initially it started with me putting her on the horse and helping her rock, however within a few months she was climbing up and down and rocking on her own. Great toy Hard to find refills
I bought one of these for my sons bithday from a local Toys R Us store and we love it. we found that the bugs will stick to windows and mirrors well if left just a little tacky.

The problem of finding GoopFX is driving me crazy. I can't find the GoopFX anywere so I called the manufacture who says they have plenty of it but the stores aren't stocking it along with new molds and they don't have an online store to sell it.The manufacture is supposed to do some research for a supplier but I have yet to hear back from them.

Good looking bugs can still be made with the regular goop but detailing them takes some practice. All in all a realy cool toy as long as they keep the goop coming.

Not a good toy for impatient children
My 5 year old daughter received this toy from a friend for Christmas last year.She thought it was the coolest toy.When we brought the toy home and opened it...there was no bulb, and nowhere open on Christmas to buy one.When we were finally able to get a bulb for the toy the next day, much to her disappointment, it takes approximately 10-12 minutes to "cook" the bugs and another 12-15 minutes for the machine to cool down so the door can be opened (safety feature).She was not very happy with having to wait almost a half an hour for one spider to be made.Needless to say, she dosen't play with that toy much now.

The making of bugs
My 8 year old loves having creepy bugs to play with and once we lessened the cooking time (after talking with the products customer service department, which was very helpful) we got the bugs to look very colorful. However, it is very difficult for him to squeeze the bottles by himself - smaller holes help with making better details, which he also has trouble doing - so I tend to do all the work, with his input.We are also dispointed that the FX Goop that is thicker and supposed to be used for filling in the legs and all the detailing like lines, spots, eyes, etc. does not come in many colors (we got pink, yes - PINK! Not a favorite of boys!). It also can not be purchased seperately like the Plastic Goop, the only way to get more FX Goop is to purchase the bug machine or the mold packs - each which only include one small tube. ... don't buy thomas the train...unless
thomas the train is the first in thousands of dollars worth of great toys for a child.the only problem is if you buy this train...it starts a fascination not only with your children, but with you as well.my wife and I found ourselves searching out different thomas the train characters and have now spent about a thousand dollars on trains and accessories... it starts with this one blue little train and after a while you have invested a fortune... be warned don't start the addiction!

Durable classic
Thomas the Tank Engine IS my young son's favorite toy. Actually Thomas is just the beginning. When you start adding on other vehicles and buildings, you'll soon have a little railroad empire going. The price is up there a bit, but when a kid loves it like mine does, in the long run it is worth it. We got Thomas for him when he was two. He is now four and still going strong. Thomas will be a keepsake for our child's heritage book long after he has outgrown it.

This toy is tops!
My son recieved it for his 2nd birthday and a year later still loves it. We keep it as an outside toy where he can dig and load dirt with it. Its nice and chunky for little hands and has a handle you push to make the loading part lift up. I imagine this toy will last forever.

Loads of Fun
My two boys(5 and 6) have both the loader and dump truck and they have put about 1,000 miles on tires and they keep going.They enjoy playing in the dirt with these toys..They are kept outside and have lasted along time(3 yrs)..Even when left out in the rain, they have kept together with no problems.

Little tikes diggers and trucks
I am a grandmother of a little boy and little twin girls, all 3 years old, and a Little 2 year old girl. All have fun digging in the sand or dirt with the Loader and Dump truck. excellent hoop set for older little ones
We received this item as a gift.It took about 20 minutes to assemble, with no tools required.(I did use a shoe to pound the wheel axle in though :-)There were a lot of stickers included, so I had the kids decorate the apparatus as I assembled it, and everyone was happy.

There are five height adjustments but even the lowest is 5 feet, so this set is a little too tall for the recommended three-year old; however, it does fold up nicely to reduce its impact on your space, it does move around easily using the wheels, and you can fill the bottom with sand or water to stabilize it.With the exception of the axle for the wheels, all parts are plastic and colorful.This is a very nice basketball hoop (though as I said, a bit tall for the lower recommended age), and one small basketball is included.Easy to put together, easy to enjoy and easy to store.

It's a Ranch! It's a Fort!It's Lincoln Logs!
As a child, Lincoln Logs were one of my favorite toys.You could build houses, forts, roads, fences, and just about anything else you could imagine for a piece of wood.Lincoln Logs have changed over the years, but they remain a wonderful toy to stimulate imagination.

This particular set is one of the larger sets available with 150 pieces, and 114 of those are wood logs.I think that if you are going to get Lincoln Logs, the more you have the better.I always wanted ever more Lincoln Logs to build even bigger forts, which was one of my favorite themes.The western and frontier themes seem to be somewhat old-fashioned for many children who would rather be punching video game buttons for hours than imagining what it would be like to create houses by hand, and then living in them.

This particular set includes pieces that are improvements over the original.Plastic windows, people, animals, a ladder and other miscellaneous pieces increase the imagination factor rather than detract from it.I initially was disappointed that the wood-slat roof pieces were missing from this set, but quickly realized that the plastic roofs remained in place as opposed to the wood slats that seemed to fall off the roof with little encouragement.On the other hand, you could use the roof slats in other arrangements, such as bridges and roads.The plastic roofs are better for younger children, though older children would benefit from the hand-eye coordination and the problem solving skills the wood roof pieces provided.

While I think it is interesting to build the models included in the original instructions, which includes a corral, blacksmith's shop and small fort, Lincoln Logs are sufficiently versatile and easy to use that even very young children begin stacking them with ease in their own configurations.This capability is a real imagination builder.I prefer Lincoln Logs for their greater reliance on imagination than most other building blocks and toys, which tend to emphasize a specific configuration.

John Lloyd Wright, the son of Frank Lloyd Wright, first created Lincoln Logs in 1916.Strangely, he claimed that the construction of the foundation of Tokyo's Imperial Hotel was his inspiration for the toy rather than log cabins.The toys were an instant success because they developed good hand-eye coordination and for the other reasons noted above.The toys became an even bigger success after World War II and the baby boom era.

Lincoln Logs are one of the few toys that seemed to have survived for decades.There have been many challengers to Lincoln Logs, and they are probably much less popular with children today because of the many more sophisticated choices.However, Lincoln Logs remain a great toy, especially for younger children.Even older children, like those in there 40s and 50s, can find a lot of enjoyment in a toy that was much more popular in a previous era, and retains most of the characteristics that were the reason for that popularity.

No visible scratches had it for 2 years
Most of my trains are pretty old except for the new ones but Percy really hasn't had any scratches and i've had him for nine years. His magnet is still there and it's in working order. Percy is one of everyone's favorite engines and this one is a great buy!

My son loves it!!!
My son is a big fan of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.His favorite is Percy.He takes his Percy trains with him wherever he goes (to bed, in the car, around the house, etc.).We even bought an extra for him just in case he loses one of them.If your children love Thomas (and what toddler doesn't?), I do have a piece of advice--get duplicates of the trains.You never know if one will get lost, or forgotten!I got doubles of most of the trains, Percy included, and it can be a real lifesaver when one gets lost or left behind!

AWSOME G.I.JOE CREATION
This box is awsome! It comes with alot of acesories. The bad thing is sometimes when the box flips over and you have your things inside,they might get mixed up with other things. But who cares,it has alot of room for things and comes with some acesories.

Good Buy
This is a fairly good item that every serious GI Joe collector should have.One such locker can hold 2, 12" figures and a ton of different accessories.

Thanks to this little box I don't have a single lost or broken piece and my figures look brand new!

The accessories accompanying the item are very realistic and look just like the real weapons and equipment.Very educational and true to the military.

The only defect I had was a loose barrel on my M16A2, - rather than that it's a good deal and a great addition to any GI Joe collection.

Our toddler's favorite toy
We bought this truck for my son's first b-day. At first he just piled it with toys and dumped them out. He slowly figured out how much fun it was to hold onto the back and push it around the house. It's truly his favorite toy. His friends (up to age 4) also all love this truck. We're going out to buy another one because they all fight over it!

Our son is 19 months old and we've never had a problem with him getting hit in the head with the back of the truck the way other reviews have described. I'm not saying it's not possible to get hit. He just figured out quickly the correct way to push it and play with it.

This truck is plastic and seems indestructible. Because it's plastic, it's lightweight and easy to maunever around. We think it is a great truck for both toddlers and preschoolers.

wonderful toy,except!!
My son pcked this out at a local store.After a couple of weeks, the truck did not make the sound it was supposed to.I called little tikes and a check is on the way for a new one.My son loves this toy and makes the sound every time he sees.Little Tikes brands are the best made toys around!!!

Great for young and old
My son has this truc. It is very cute and durable. He's 2 but my nephews who are 12 and 15 love it too!! It links together easily and comes apart easily. Al so hooks to other trucks of the same style!! Excellent truck!

Great truck for rough boys!
I have two boys, 4 and 1 who equally love this truck!They have several in the series of "Rugged Riggz" and they are all great!They play very hard and rough and this toy withstands it all!The wheels are rubberized so they don't scratch my coffee table.You can take the trailer part apart and mix and match with the others in the series.A definite MUST have for those of you with boys and truck-lovers like me!!!

Fun, but can't use the pieces
This is a fun set, except the animals do not fit through any of the tunnuls.We use the open box-cars for the barels that go with another set.If you are only going to use the animals without any tunnels, which is difficult with small children (they love tunnels), its a fun set.If you set up big train configs...get something else.

Lots of fun... but size is a problem!
My son recently received the Circus Train for his 2nd birthday. He was really excited to see the animals, and loves to put them in the cage cars and drive them around the track. He has been very frustrated, however, because his train can't fit through any tunnels or bridges when the animals are on board - the animals are just too tall. I think the Circus Train would be a great addition to your Thomas Wooden Railway IF you don't have the bridges or tunnels to worry about. If you do have these items in your layout, I'd suggest the Ivo Hugh zoo set instead, as it is made to fit through those low clearance areas.

violet beauty
This Barbie is so pretty. Just look at the sparkles and the purple/violet hair.i love this doll.you will too.

The Shedding Sparkle Barbie
When I first saw Barbie Fairytopia Sparkle Fairy Barbie I must admit I thought she was quite pretty. I still think this Barbie is beautiful. She is a lavender color and her entire body glitters with sparkles. Her body is a light lavender color topped off with a darker shade of lavender for her hair. She has gorgeous little fairy wings that jut out her back. The wings are white with dark lavender swirl designs on them. Sparkle Barbie has a lavender strapless half shirt that is painted onto her body(with glitter all over it). She is also wearing an "extremely" short lavender skirt with a white train that attaches in the back. She also has a lavender flower belt, and she is topped off with, yep you guessed it, lavender slippers. Even her lipstick is "lavender". Like I said, she really is a beautiful Barbie and probably the prettiest one that I have seen in the Fairytopia collection so far.

The wings are attached by sticking them into little holes in the back of Sparkle Fairy Barbie's back. There is also a little button that you can push to make the wings flap. The skirt, train, and slippers can be removed if you must (and of course, my daughter MUST undress every Barbie that she receives).

Don't let Sparkle Barbie's good looks fool you. She is a pain! I didn't think that anything could be quite as bad as the Fairytopia Mermaid, but Mermaid has met her match! Of course Haleigh loves her and she especially loves the wings. Mommy does NOT love the wings at all. They fall off all the time and I was constantly having to put them back on over and over again. It brought back nightmares of the fin that would never stay put. Haleigh understood that I was getting frustrated so she tried to attach the wings back itself. One wing broke in half and the spoke was stuck in Sparkle Barbie's back. I then heard screams and cries for days on end about how Barbie is now broken. When the wings were actually intact, it was impossible for my daughter to make the wings flap. Even when my husband or I flapped the wings for her, they only half way flapped and consistently got stuck.

Second, the glitter that is supposed to stay on Barbie and no one else simply does not stay put. Sparkle Barbie has shed glitter everywhere. If anyone has had experience with glitter, then you know it's not the easiest thing to clean up being so small. There was not a large amount of glitter shed, but enough for me to really dislike this Barbie.

The only good things that I can say about Barbie Fairytopia Lavender Sparkle Fairy Barbie is that the rest of her body is pretty durable. Even though she sheds glitter, the painted on shirt has not faded and her arms and legs are still in working order.

a great doll - but not for kids
I am a teenage girl collecting barbie dolls, and occasionally I play with them. I recently added this doll to my collection. I really love her, since she's gorgeous and the glitter doesn't come off (which is often a problem with glitter toys).

However, if your child is between the ages of 3 and 10, this might not be the right purchase for them. As a 'mature' collector I am always very careful with my dolls, but I'm sure you know that children often aren't. Since the wings are very fragile and will easily break, they're not really fit for children to play with.

I think that overall it's a wonderful doll, but children will need to be careful with it and that's not always an easy task while playing. ... Read more
