Very Cute
My 4 year old daughter received Dahlia and Dandilion in her easter basket, as well as the Fairytopia movie.She loves them.Other than Elina, these are the only character dolls from the movie.They are very cute.The wings don't seem very sturdy, they are glued on and a 4 year old could pull them off easily.Otherwise, very cute and sparks her imagination.

Great doll
I got my 4 yr old the Elina, Dahilia and two sets of pixie dolls (1 fairy & 1 mermaid).She absolutely LOVES them!She carries them around and plays mommy and baby fairies with them.I love that the designs are moulded into the plastic, no pants to loose!We braided their hair (pony tails for the big dolls) and the hair has not gotten ratty.If you get Dahilia's hair wet, I imagine that the swirls will go away as they are stiff like they have spray starch in them.Not very educational, but they do prompt role playing and imagination.

VERY cute, but one disappointment
I have to agree..she is very cute, even with pink hair. However, i don't know if anyone has noticed that on the back of the box it states: "magical" glowing wings.They don't glow!I was under the impression that the plastic wings glowed in the dark if you held them up to the light for a few seconds...but they don't. they are decorated with sparkle/glitter but nothing "GLOWS".Still a VERY cute barbie and I would buy the other ones in the collection. ... A Great Product All Around.
This is a great basketball system made by Huffy. The Back board is very Durable with a snap away rim so that you dont get any broken rims. the price is Just right and it is a great buy all around.

My Rocking Pink Pony
My sister and I were driving down the street and someone had put this out for the trash.We stopped and picked it up, as I have a new great grandaughter.My sister cleaned it up and it looks brand new.The only thing missing is the saddle pad and part of the haulter.We are a horse loving family.WE rescue Wild Mustangs and find them new homes.Little faith will surly enjoy this when she is big enough. EXTREMELY small
When I was looking at a rocking horse for my 12 month old daughter I thought this would be perfect, it's cute and pink. Fortunately I went to Toys R Us to look at it first.
This is extremely small, I dont know how it would be any fun for a 4 year old. This is a great size for a 1 year old but after that I cant see it lasting.
I ended up getting the "Rock N Bounce Pony" from Radioflyer. It is about 20 dollars more but will definately last until your child is 4 years old. Plus it bounces and rocks.

EXTREMELY UPSET!!
2 yr old daughter played with Pink Pony for approx. 1.5 days (Christmas) and the music portion doesn't play. Followed instructions and installed new batteries, mouth still moves but that is it. The overall quality is fair at best.

Purchased this here on line and now Amazon.com (Third party for Toys R Us)is telling me it is not returnable.To say the least, we are not happy with Amazon or Toys R Us !!!!!!

Fairy Tale Castle Great for Imagination
I am a teacher and frequently use Playmobile products to bring history alive. My students, both boys and girls love to pretend with the Playmobile Fairy Tale castle.

A Little Girls Dream
My daughter has had the Fairy Tale Castle for over two years now and still loves to play with it. I have purchase other add-ons (knights, dragon, horses, waterfall, scenery, etc.) and gave them to my daughter for Birthdays, Easter baskets, and even for doing well in school. Beside the two designs that Playmobil has shown, you can create your own castle. It is sturdy and is an excellent toy for the imagination.

Not worth the money!
I bought this horse kit for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas.The kit was much smaller than I thought it would beand one of the horses in the package was broken.It appears to be made of a cheap wood/material.I would not recommend this toy to anyone!I am very surprised that this toy won an award for "Best Toy".What a disappointment!!!!

The Legless Horse
Taking into consideration the reviews of others that the horses may arrive in pieces, I purchased this item for my niece because she loves horses.It arrived today and -- as warned -- one of the horse legs was broken off.It appears that it can be glued back on without much effort and I will do so before gifting it to my niece, however, this review will add to the fair warnings that your horses too may arrive legless or headless and to be prepared.I expect the product to be well received, but I have given this product an average rating because the consumer should not be responsible for pre-use repairs.

Fun model painting kit
I bought this kit for my 9 year old sister-in-law and she enjoyed painting the wooden models.There was plenty of paint and she mixed some of the colors (the instructions give good recommendations).She also painted the cards with the names of the horses she decided on.I was impressed with the instructions, horse facts, and helpful tips that came with the kit; the little wooden figurines are even hand carved. Great Fun
We got this for our son a year ago. It was easy to install, and it has 'grown' as he grew ! The height adjustment is easy to make. It is also very sturdy. I have not filled it with sand, so it is light enough for my son to move the entire toy himself to wherever he wants it ! The only thing I am unhapy with is that the noise from the battery-operated speaker is so loud that it sometimes scares my son.

SON'S FAVORITE TODDLER TOY
My son, now 4 1/2 recieved this toy on his 1st birthday and it immediately became his favorite toy.This STURDY DURABLE toy got a DAILY workout from my son for about two and a half years.At which time we retired it for no other reason than he had graduated to a taller hoop (this one goes to 4 foot).I should also mention that our son preferred a full size ball (yes, it fits!)to the one that is included.I mention that only to support the DUABILITY rating. DURABLE it is!!!!! After four children Little Tikes has never failed us, when we have had a problem they have ALWAYS helped us rectify it.GUYS, if you can't put something together CORRECTLY, ask for help!!!!

It's a hit!
We have two kids, ages 3 and 1.They both love this toy!The only "problem" we have had is them fighting over who gets the ball ... so pick up an extra ball if you have more than one kid playing with this.As for the toy itself, it is very durable construction, has withstood being toppled over more than once, and the hoop does not fall out because we have pushed it firmly into place (you will hear a snap when it locks).The children hang on the hoop and it is just fine.I love the adjustable height of the stand, and the net has held up despite many things besides just a ball being forced through it.Now I just need to fill the base with sand and we will be in great shape!This is one of the best toys we have purchased for the kids, it keeps them active while having fun. ... A Favorite!
My 2 1/2 year old LOVES FORKLIFTS, but toy forklifts are very hard to come by.We got this for him for christmas and he loves it so much, he's been sleeping with it every night!It isn't as durable as I'd like, but i explained to him how it was a special toy and he needs to play with it gently, and so far, it's held up nicely.

Bruder breaks 1st day & no refund
Last Christmas we purchased the forklift and 2 other vehicles by Bruder.One arrived with a broken piece and the other 2 broke the first day.I contacted Bruder by email a few days after Christmas.I was told that after 20 days, no returns were accepted.Since I ordered the gifts prior to Christmas, I was out of luck.They never responded any further to my complaints in the quality of their product.Die Cast vehicles have been much more durable.Not only were the products brittle, but moving mechanisms seemed made to crack off so that very quickly the primary function of all the machines was broke.

Fun, but not durable
My 3-year-old son was crazy about watching the fork lifts at Home Depot and was delighted to receive this as a big brother gift when our second child arrived.But alas, as other reviewers have mentioned, it is brittle.The basket was broken into many pieces after being stepped on.The up/down mechanism was too delicate.We still get it out for the second child now and then, but he is too frustrated about the broken parts. ... A real winner!
This game is great!The tiny dinos spark my 5 year-old son's imagination and enable him to have so much fun that he does not realize he is learning.Furthermore, he does not want to stop!!!He learned place value up to the thousands during our first game. After each roll of the dice the player uses all four dice to make a number and then s/he reads the number aloud (i.e. ifyou roll 6666 you say six thousand six hundred and sixty six).As we move our dinos around the board T.R. looks forward to our pieces landing on the same track so that we can have a "Showdown".In a "Showdown" you simply have to roll a dice and the person who gets the larger number wins.However, we move our dinos to the middle of the board and have a miniature battle.The player who rolled the larger number wins the battle.The loser is sent back home and the winner gets to move ahead.After playing the game a couple of times without using the cards - which is the simplest level of play with this game - my son asked to use the cards.So on Day 2 we began using the cards.Again he uses his imagination and does a great deal of role play as he carries out the instructions.It fills my heart with delight to see his excitement and to see that he has truly learned how to read numbers up to the thousands. (T.R. learned to read when he was 4 so he independently reads the dice and reads the cards.)

As a parent I highly recommend Dino Math Tracks because kids quickly learn a lot while having loads of fun.This game can be played at three levels, so it grows with your child.

My child loves this game!Each person has a single type of dinosaur in four different colors.Each color represents one of the placement values; Ones, Tens, Hundreds, Thousands.The dinosaurs, as determined by roll of four dice, have to walk their color-coordinated path from start to finish.But look out! If an opponent lands on the same space, a die-rolling duel ensues, with the high-roller prevailing.This basic game is a lot of fun for young children.Then there are two decks of cards, one more advanced than the other, which enable the parameters of the game to expand with the child's developing math skills.My child and I can play on even ground - a rare trait in today's games.This comes highly recommended!

Terrific
We just bought this case for my son's new FirstAct Discovery series guitar. It was so inexpensive that we were sure it would be cheap and cheesy. We wrong! It's durable, attractive, has two convenient handles, and a pocket up front for extra strings and music. This is a must if you own a Discovery series guitar.

My Little Sandboxes recommendation
I am a preschool teacher and I have used all three "My Little Sandboxes" for enhancing our curriculum here at school.The sandboxes are great because they encourage interactive and imaginative play. Also, they are a very sensorial or tactile activity which is important for fine motor and hand/eye coordination development in preschool age children. That fact that they come with a drop cloth to catch the extra sand is an added plus!

face off air hockey
I bought this for my 8 year old grandchild and it was a big hit.Flows easily and is used often.One leg was broken when we received it but used super glue and it was like new.I wanted to order another, but alas, on Christmas, the answer was no.For the price, I feel this is an exceptional product

A Great Product for the Price
I bought this air hockey product for our 7 year old twin boys this past Christmas.They rated it as their "best gift" and it is one of the few toys that is still being used and enjoyed on a regular basis.I was concerned that the table size would be too small and the air flow would be inadequate to have a fast paced game for the cost of this model.However, I am extrememly pleased with the table proportion and it has a flow more than adequate to "float" the puck and produces a very fast game.We started out playing with it on the floor with the boys sitting down, but have since moved it to a small table and they now play standing up.It is a fun game for parents to play with their children and it is the type of game that kids can play with a minimum amount of disagreement or supervision.There is a manual "score board" to ten points for each player and the only additional rule we had to implement was to keep their "free hand" off the table.It is a great game for eye-hand coordination and the fast pace makes it exciting for the players and spectators alike.

Sea Monkeys are the best! They are so easy to raise! It only takes about a day to prepare the tank! Speaking of tank, the tank is so cool! It has a flip light, and lots and lots of magnifiers.



Sea monkeys are great for kids who are allergic to fur. Be careful to not spill the tank! And remember to feed your fine little friends!

Entertaining and Fun
Before I begin, please note that this is from an eleven year old's point of view.
Sea Monkeys are really great! They are perfect for kids who aren't allowed to have furry animals.
Sea Monkeys Ocean of Light comes with exactly the following-no more, no less:

-aquarium with flip light
-instructions in a variety of languages
-water purifier pouch
-instant egg pouch
-growth food pouch
-plasma III pouch
-food and egg spoon

The kit is great for starters who don't wan't to get too fancy-just using what you need. The tank is really great, with the light and built in magnifiers, but beware that the lid is EXTREMELY loose. For those who don't know, Plasam III is some powder that will make your sea-monkey babies grow faster.
The instruction booklet has its ups and downs. It's packed with advice and science facts are crammed in, making it fun. However, the box clearly states that it has a 32 page booklet, in full color, but I did not find any.
I took one star away because the kit was simply not enough for a serious beginner trainer. For instance, an Aqua-Leash will let you transport your critters from one place to another, and the Million Bubble Air Pump is a handy device in which it pumps air. I was slightly dissapointed when I did not find either in the kit. But, I went onto the official sea-monkey website, www.sea-monkeys.com, where they sell the leash and the pump, plus other great stuff. Go on there to buy and to get valuable customer care information.
All in all, the Ocean of Light is really a pretty good kit, and sea-monkeys are the BEST and easiest to raise!

It was really cool waching the sea monkey's swiming in the water it wasn't much of a problem feeding them either it was a fun thing to look at and past the time.I think my parent's will buy this for me again.I think this gift would be a scientific experiece for any child.Tip:keep younger kids away if they arent smart they'll think its a glass of water and drink it.

After Two years of use it's time for another one
I was really disapointed when I found my Lady's paint chipped off in most places. We need a new one now and that's a bummer becase I have at least 70 thomas trains and most of them survived pretty well .

For 18 months to 8 years: Be prepared to buy them all!
The Thomas train and train collections are durable toys. Their real value, though, is that playing with the toys allows children to act out the great Thomas and Friends children's stories they read and watch.

The only problem--if you can call it that--is that you can't just buy one! Your kids will want more and more. These are the most played with toys our son has. The characters are his friends, and we tell stories with Thomas, James, Gordon, and the rest of the gang.

Lady only appears in the Thomas and the Magic Railroad movie. But she is an important character, and the kids adore her. My own three-year old son was so overcome with excitement at the sight of Lady that for a long time he couldn't watch her when she first appeared on-screen and wouldn't play with her when we initially bought him this toy. She is magical, and kids pick up on that. THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL PIECE IF YOUR CHILD HAS SEEN THE THOMAS AND THE MAGIC RAILROAD MOVIE.Note that durability is an issue: the smokestack is very thin at the bottom and can easily snap off.

Purchasing recommendation:
* Choose which type of Thomas trains you will 'standardize' on. There are three kinds: This size of wooden trains from Learning Curve; larger, plastic, battery-operated trains from Tomy; and smaller, die-cast metal trains from Ertl. The wooden trains have the most products and accessories available.

* The clickety-clack (grooved to look like real railroad) track in the Thomas series is great, but it's expensive; I recommend buying generic track. ... You can literally save hundreds of dollars by buying these kinds of sets.

* Buy the Thomas and friends engines separately--and wait for sales. The kids care about the characters, so no short-cutting (ie., Brio or generic trains) here.

* Look for trains bundled with VHS videos. You can get a video and a train (on sale) for about the same price as a train alone.

a wonderful time
I bought this truck for my 2-year-old grandson, but the older ones loved it, too, so I ordered 2 more. The three boys played for hours with this truck.I can't wait to see what they do with three of them.

Very beutiful and cute
This toy is so cool I have never had this much fun with a toy before. This toy is cute and colorful. The only thing is that the flying flower doesn't stay up. There are other toys like this and the figures from them can interact with this one and the cottage I have all four sets. I give this toy 10 thumbs up hollar back now

4 year old loves it
My daughter received this for her 4th bday and it has been on our kitchen table for 2 weeks now.She has watched the Fairytopia movie (which she also adores) and loves to act it out with this toy.It is very cute although not super durable.Some of the moveable features don't work perfectly but she doesn't care.I have to give it 5 stars since it was her favorite bday toy.

My Son Loves The Water Tower!
My son had been asking for the Water Tower for quite some time, so we finally got it for him.

The plastic that encases the liquid is very, very sturdy--and it has never leaked. (Believe me...my son puts his Thomas accessories through the paces!) It's quite heavy, and fits right onto the wooden railway. By moving the black spout up and down, the blue liquid appears to empty and re-fill.

Kids seem to be fascinated with it, including my son. I definitely recommend the Water Tower as a neat accessory to any wooden railway system.

Neat addition to your train set

I noticed the numbers on all the engines so I bought this one so I could make it so my son could count the engines from 1-10.This is number 3.Only the coal cars are marked.This is a large engine.It's size makes it difficult to push around and it derails easily.My son is 16 moths old and has trouble with this engine I recommend it if for the 2+ crowd. ...
