Great toy
My four year old daughter got this toy for her birthday.It required very little set up and assembly.My daughter has had lots of fun.The only negative is only one of the disks has a magnetic spot to enable to ponies to dance it would be nice if all three disks on the dance floor could enable the ponies to twirl and dance.But this has not deterred the great imaginative play this toy has sparked.

This is great!
I got this toy for Christmas and I absoulutly LOVE it! Unlike what other people say, it dosn't break for me. It closes up nicely, too and nothing falls apart. I love this! The only thing I don't like is that the "changing room" is too small for the pony to fit in, so you have to move the furniture so the pony will fit. Overall, I LOVE this!

Great addition to pony collection - Easy to store
This toy arrived almost completely ASSEMBLED!Even the stickers were attached!The best part about this toy (from a parent's perspective) is that it all fits neatly inside and you clip the top shut.It has a carry strap for taking on visits to Grandmas.The music is loud enough for play but not too loud and it plays more than one song.The magnets really hold the ponies on the dance circles very tightly.Even baby ponies can dance.If you are only buying one, I recommend this over the amusement park with ferris wheel.This holds together and the amusement park falls into several peices and is very difficult to store.My daughers love the music and motion of the Dance Studio. ... A Collector's Review
I'm 26... and I collect My Little Ponies. As a collector, I'm obviously looking for different things in a toy than the average child would, so please take that into consideration when you read this review.

That said, I think any collection would be incomplete without this pony. The rearing position is definitely unique - and unlike Star Catcher (who looked ridiculous on display without a stand of any kind), she stands out on a display shelf. I also find that she's FAR cuter and more charming than her sister pony, Loop-De-La.

Just a suggestion for any other collectors... If you own the Celebration Salon, you might want to switch Glitter Glide's tutu for the blue mesh one that came with the Celebation Salon. It matches her colouring MUCH better - and is short enough to let her cute ice skate symbol be seen. I liked her before, but I absolutely adored her after I made that switch!

Sweet pony
I love my Ice Dancing with Glitter Glide. She is a very beautiful pony with silky hair. Her eyes are cute. Her tutu sparkles in almost any light source. Her crown lights up when a button is pushed on the initial base. Glitter Glide also twirls when the pedestal is pushed. I am so proud to have her as a part of my collection, along with her sister, Loop-de-La.

I don't know why people are having problems with this and Twirling Fun with Loop-de-La. Some reviewers have complained that you can't take the back skates or slippers off and get other ponies to dance or skate. The instructions clearly say that only the front skates or slippers are removable. You can't take off the back skates or slippers. Quit being lazy and read the instructions. It's your own fault for being dissatisfied with the toys.

Frustrating for my daughter
My 2-1/2-year-old daughter received Glitter Glide for Christmas after asking for a "My Little Pony" toy.She was excited at first because the pony is very pretty and its crown lights up.However, she wants to take the skates off and use it to play with her other ponies, and this is not possible.So, she usually ends up putting it away in frustration and hardly ever bothers to make it light up or spin.I would recommend getting a regular "My Little Pony" over this one since they are more versatile. ... My daughter loves the ballerina
My daughter is 4 1/2 and loves this doll.She presses the bar to hear the music and gives a "puppet show" of the doll dancing.She really hasn't used the dance mat, but enjoys changing her clothes and dancing her to music.I've never seen the commercial so my expectations were never anything but a TOY.She plays with it and enjoys the bar and music and that's what's important. I would recommend this doll for any child who loves ballerina's.

Cute doll but doesnt dance well!
The doll looks really fun in the packaging but it really is hard to get it to spin and do any dance moves without it falling down. Also all you can do with the bar is press it and it plays music. The doll cant hold on to it or anything. It basically just sits there. Really not much fun.

We weren't so thrilled.
My daughter loves the doll and the doll is pretty however...It isn't easy to make "dance" and the barre doesn't stand up nicely so she has been frustrated. ... Read more

How to use with odd feet/shoes
I admit that the shoes are weird but with all the skates on, you can pretend she's just tall

Cute, but...
My daughter received this at Christmas and she does like it.We have had problems w/it some though.It would not light up,so I thought maybe the batteries that came w/it were dead.I changed them and nothing.I repeatedly took the pony of and popped it back on and still could not get it to work.Finally I tried moving the head and this worked.So if you plan on getting this or already have it and it stops working be sure to try moving the head around before you toss it out.

Absolutely gorgeous pony!
Ballet Twirling Fun with Loop-de-La is a gorgeous playset. Loop-de-La is so beautiful that I had to get her for my collection. She twirls when you push her pedestal forward, as if she is actually dancing. Her crown blinks and twinkles when you push the button on the initial base. Her tutu seems to sparkle in any light source, and her hair is silky and brushable. Loop-de-La can hold a boquet of flowers as she dances. Do not listen to the review below. adorable
I wish I had been the one to dream up Baby Born and all her accessories! I'd be laughing all the way to the bank. This outfit is particularly adorable and will appeal to all budding ballerinas and Angelina Ballerina fans.

Cute but a little weird..
It's cute but I find it weird that a baby who can't walk, talk and doesn't even have hair yet can do BALLET???
