Great item!
My 17month old daughter absolutely loved her dog!She runs first thing every morning to it and cuddles and holds it.I highly recommend the item...quality great--even though my daughter always wants to pull its hair out.

While there exist numerous trainable robotic dogs on the marketplace, there's something a little refreshing about a furry mechanical pup that simply does whatever he wants to. Because really, haven't we all met or even owned dogs like that? Once Go-Go is turned on, he moves back and forth on tiny wheels hidden under thick blond fur all the while pivoting at the shoulders and hips to give a more realistic depiction of walking. Go-Go is a noisy little critter as well barking and panting while moving about the floor. While the real dog movements and sounds were lots of fun, such entertainment does come at a price, in this case five "C" batteries. Ishould have listened to the reviews
I just had to buy Go Go. My daughter wanted nothing else for christmas.I had read the reviews on this website and they were pretty much 50/50.So I decided to purchase it anyway.
When she opened the box she was delighted.It was fairly easy to put in the batteries and the dog began to bark.It was very entertaining except you had to yell at it to get it's attention. It came to you, sort of.I think it just goes in circles. It would whine and bark incessantly and within in the hour we turned it off.It had lost it's luster.
The only reason my daughter plays with it is because we purchased a Smoochie puppy and she has Go Go be it's mommy.
Take your chances perhaps you will have better luck.But definately keep the box so you can return it.

Ah woof woff
This one is really annoying-aside from the fact that it is loud-it does next to nothing that it claims-save your time, money and the stress of you child saying "MOMMY THIS THING IS NOT WORKIN" RIGHT!!!"

An expensive let down

I bought this Darby Dog for $20. I was very happy with the price because most items you see today are $20 for a small uselss item. Darby let me use my imagination, I could be his owner, vet or anything else. I love my Darby Dog he babysits my other stuffed animals very well! Great toy!

My 1 year old daughter loves to hug and cuddle this dog, and she is not the cuddly type. It's just so very soft. It's also perfect for my wife to hold on to if she happens to be falling asleep while I'm not in bed.

Favorite game!
I gave this game to my grandson for his birthday.Recently, we went to school for Grandparent's Day.There was a list of questions to ask the grandchild, including what is his favorite game.He immediately said "Dogopoly."His sister later gave the same answer.They have a lot of games, but they play this one often!Thanks!

Darby Dog
I have a 35" Darby dog and I have to say, it is a wonderful toy. It is only 20$ {where I bought it} and it is pretty durable. I love to play with it, it lets me use my imagination.

The measurements are misleading -- be aware!!!
I got the doggy today and it's very cute, but you have to be aware that it's much smaller than you would expect. I guess they measure it flattened from the tip of its tail to the nose, and its tail is almost 7 inches. (...)

Despite his rather pugilistic moniker, this little boxer is anything but combative. In fact, his sad expression indicates that he's really a lover and not a fighter. He's a Toys "R" Us Exclusive from Animal Alley and features a tan coat, a white belly and paws, and a tan-and-black face. Perfect imitation
Good job Animal Alley!You captured the Boxer's charm and puppy-like looks perfectly!I love the way you emphasized the Boxer's playful, friendly side instead of the ferocious side.They really are just oversized puppies.
This Boxer's sad eyes and slightly wrinkled forehead are wonderful, and I love the way you gave the Boxer drop ears.The look so much cuter that way.
This dog is just the softest thing in the world.It's also the perfect size.It's too big to get lost all the time, but small enough to fit in a suitcase or backpack.

My 6 year old daughter received this stuffed animal for Christmas.The last thing she needed was another stuffed animal, but I have to admit that this one is worth it.The dog is smaller than I expected, but so soft and cuddly.She is having a great time with it.

A very loveable dog
I received the larger 17" version as a gift. I love dogs, but can't own one so this is the next best thing. It has a nice heftyness, yet it very soft and cuddly. I find myself using it for a pillow quite often. It is very forgiving =) It's great when you've had a bad day and just need a great big hug.

Who says stuffed animals are just for kids?
I received the Animal Alley yellow lab as a post-surgery recovery gift from my husband.The toy is well made and durable, however, due to the yellow color, dirt will show up on the plush fur over time.Even though I am almost 40 years old, I use the toy as a pillow and a companion when my real lab can't come into the house!I also own the Animal Alley german shepherd and think these plush animals are top notch quality at an affordable price.Other expensive brands are so costly that you wouldn't want your kids to handle the toys, so what good are they?

Hello i purchased darby along time ago for my boyfriend and he absolutly loves it. It has been almost 3 years for us and he still has it lol

Soft and cuddly
Out of all the stuffed animals my son has received, this is his absolute favorite.It is soft and cuddly and he loves to hug it and kiss it when it gets close to nap or bedtime.He is now 20 months old and loves to have it next to him when he sleeps.When he wakes in the morning he makes us bring his doggy with us before taking his juice cup.I don't think it's machine washable but I did have to stick in the dryer after he dunked it into the cat water bowl and it came out fine.

Cute toy, but kind ofloud!
My 9 month old daughter just received this toy as a gift. Toy is very cute and small which is a plus for me, but it is kind of loud and anoying. My daughter loves to chew on the rubber feet when it vibrates. I guess if it entertains them, we can put up with a little sound!

Skeeerd! Skeeeeerd!
I thought this toy was so cute, and would pick it up and play with it at the store, but my daughter never showed any interest. She received it for her first birthday, and decided almost immediately that it isn't cute and it isn't fun; instead it is the scariest toy ever! At first she's just run from it, or be sure to walk waaaaay around it if it was sitting out, but now that she's older, she will make a scared face, and run away while yelling "Skeeeered! Skeeeeered!"

I think my kid is probably the exception, though, and I can't give a perfectly cute toy a bad review just because my little one thinks it is is evil.

my son's favorite
We bought this for my son when he was 4 months old and now he is one and he hasn't lost interest in this toy.He loves to press the button and make it bark and jiggle. This is the most durable toy I have ever seen, my son flings it at the tile cause he likes to hear it clank against the ground.I keep telling him he's going to break it one day, but it still hasn't broken and honestly I don't think it ever will.He will press the button over and over for an hour straight! What a great puzzle!
My daughter loves her Melissa and Doug puzzle (Animals at the Barn), so I bought this one for her hoping for a similar reaction.She adores it! It's very sturdy (important because of her destructive little brother)and the colors are bright and beautiful. A big success!!!

Cute for all ages
We live in an apartment that does not allow dogs, so my husband surprised me with this one. He's very cute and cuddly and never needs to go out for a walk!

This is by far the best toy we have ever bought any of our children."Dog" goes everywhere and does everything with us.When he gets dirty, he's machine washable.My son uses him as a pillow when watching TV and of course he can't go to sleep without him. He is so silky soft, you can't help but cuddle with him. This dog rocks!
I was 7 when I picked out this dog. Now I am 11 and still have her. Her name is Midnight. When my mom and I first bought her, I wouldn't let the cashier touch her! This dog is very durable. I now have all of the labs from animal alley, and am planning to get the jumbo "Lickerish" soon. If you want to get a present for somebody whom loves dogs or labs, GET THIS DOG! It is worth the $$$$.

My dog 's "baby"
My labrador, Sadie, has had her "puppy", since she we adopted her at 4 months. This is her 2nd "baby". The first was smaller. She has had this one for 6 months now. Sadie is an aggressive chewer, like most labs, and finally got the eyes and nose off. It took many months. It is very durable as it has not been destroyed like the pet store stuffed animals. Sadie has learned the words puppy and baby. Her "puppy" sleeps with her in her crate at night. It usually comes out with her in the morning for a toss in the air and maybe a good shaking. Best Dog ever
I call him Russell. He's the most loyal puppy and he's a lot of fun to play with. I have had him for about three years and his fur is still soft. There are no tears even though I sleep hugging him pretty much every night. A great buy.
