The Best World War II Strategy Boardgame on the Market
Axis and Allies is a board game set during World War II which allows 2-5 players to assume the roles of the great powers of the global spanning conflict of 1945: Germany, the United States, Great Britain, Russia, and Japan.

The board is a replication of the world split into various zones which correspond to either direct land holdings for that power in the form of colonial governments or through intercession such as British Africa.

The game consists of many different land, air and sea-based units which have different offensive and defensive capabilities which are purchased through a monetary system controlled by how much land you have acquired.

This game generally takes atleast 2-4 hours with a lengthy set up due to the sheer amount of starting units that need to be placed ont he board prior to starting. Combat is conducted via a series of dice rolls in a unit vs. unit fashion.

The game itself plays out fantastically and really requires the player to carefully consider every move to a degree which simply isn't necessary in most board games. It adds a facet to the game which has been one of the big reasons for it's great popularity over the years.

This newer version is more balanced than the previous and is played on a slightly different map. Additionally, certain units such as the tank and plane have been modified. New units include the artillery and destroyer (both carry overs from A&A: Europe and A&A: Pacific).

All in all, a very fun thinking game which I highly recommend for a group of players who have the patience to play the game.

Fun and exciting
This world war 2 game allows the mind to think strategically and analitically in the short-term and long-term.It is also a great game to play in your spare time. Allowing people to see what it would of been like, at least militarily, if the Axis power won, or even the Russians taking over all of Europe, etc.There are so many different kind of senarios for this game that every game you play makes it a unique and exciting game.

Fun and smart
This game is kind of complicated but it's worth learning how to play it right. It's interesting how the game tries to recreate the actual conditions of the war, for example the balance of power, using money and geography etc. It's way more fun than my other favorite strategy game Risk (come on, you get U-boats in this one) and actually makes you want to learn about the history of the war. AWSOME G.I.JOE CREATION
This box is awsome! It comes with alot of acesories. The bad thing is sometimes when the box flips over and you have your things inside,they might get mixed up with other things. But who cares,it has alot of room for things and comes with some acesories.

Good Buy
This is a fairly good item that every serious GI Joe collector should have.One such locker can hold 2, 12" figures and a ton of different accessories.

Thanks to this little box I don't have a single lost or broken piece and my figures look brand new!

The accessories accompanying the item are very realistic and look just like the real weapons and equipment.Very educational and true to the military.

The only defect I had was a loose barrel on my M16A2, - rather than that it's a good deal and a great addition to any GI Joe collection.

THis new GIJOE 6 pack of figures is splendid.......I haven't picked it up from toys r us or got it on EBAY yet but I have all of the other ones since Hasbro started releasing these in 2002. (...) Finally Get Those Unknown Troops!
How many times have you read the comics or seen the old tv show and seen about a load of these guys just running around? Almost everytime they were in the background somewhere. Well now we can give the GI Joe team the backup they need. You get 6 greenshirts that each has a different military specialty (no none of them are on KP duty either). Now there are some good things and some bad things about the set that kinda throws you off. First I have to throw this part in there because in a way, it annoys me but I guess its not too bad. Ok if you look at the picture of the figures you'll see 2 dark figures that look identical, as well as 2 other figures sharing the same mold, one with red hair and the other with brown hair. The other 2 figures are a black haired guy with a mustache and a blonde guy. Well first off if you tried to compare these guys to the filecards on the back you can't since all the guys on the filecards are clean shaven and have helmets covering their hair color (funny thing is if you look real close to the file cards, 2 of the guys appaer to be blonde with the hair you barely see). It only annoys me cause we have a marksman, communications, vehical, counter intelligence, heavy weapons, and infantry specialist that I have no idea which guy they go to. Though I made up my mind who is who (blonde is leader of this group while the 2 dark guys are twins) other people might want to know a bit about them. You can put on the filecard a code name for these guys, but as I said earlier, hard to match up filecards and figures. My other gripe is that one of these guys is suppose to be a communications specialist but there is no computer or any telecommunications equipment here at all. You do get those is all the guys in basic green with the same helmets, same standard backpack, all 6 with the same rifle and a bunch of other weapons. Yeah I know I put this set down a bit, but those don't matter since this set is still a winner with the load of weapons, endless possibilities for these guys, plus a customizers dreams since you can replace heads if you don't want the same guys or even paint these guys cobra blue and make them Cobra troops (which i started doing to one set I have and they look great). Definately check this set out and get your hands on it before they are gone! ... Read more

Mountain Division Elite Figure
This is a great GI Joe.The skis are awesome.The poles don't break very easily, they bend a little bit.His gun is vary durable.Overall I would give it five stars.

Very entertaining for almost 3 weeks
It looks fun, but most kids like sets with more weaponry.

Disappointing Tank
Each of my two sons received a tank from their Grandparents.Great toy until the tracks broke.After just a few weeks of use they broke into several pieces and cannot be repaired.Kids do not play with them anymore because they do not move.Very disappointing.

Great Tank!
After my son played with this in the toy store for 30 minutes I came home and ordered it for him last year for Christmas. He was 3 1/2 and he loved the fun sound effects. The commander yells "ready, aim, fire" along with other military phrases as the tank lights up, shakes and makes blasting noises that anyboy would love to imitate.It is a favorite when any young boycomes to visit from age 2 to his 8 year old cousin! After almost a year of ownership the only thing we had break was one of the guns (probably got stepped on. 5 stars all the way because it is so popular and used so much around here. Note: we have only used this truck indoors.

Not Rugged At All
Bought as an Xmas gift, by June all the sections of the tracks
have separated. Tank is just a thing that makes noise now.

Excellent starter figure for 1/6th scale collecting
This is a good figure.It's one of the first produced by bbi, but it has some nice accessories, which give it staying power.The bulletproof vest is the high point in my opinion.Great detail and the removeable shotguns are nice.

The uniform is rather plain and could use some pockets or pouches etc, but for a ~$20 figure, this is great stuff.

He's not a sturdy as a GI Joe, but is detailed much better.The weapons are of a higher quality as are the rest of the accessories.

If you're buying for someone under 13, skip to the GI Joes.If this is for someone in their teens or an adult collector, it's a nice figure to have.

BBi first generation action figure
As the original set of BBI figures, the details and accessories on this figure is slightly more primitive compared to the more current line of BBI 12" figures.

Metal parts include painted helmet, MP5 submachine gun, Metal P7sidearm, shield with tactical light.

Excellent vest with modified shotgun shells.

it retains the original BBI facial expression system that was phased out by the better head sculpt of the newer figures.

The authentic details of GSG gear is excellent for the military LE enthusiast.

I recommend this figure. but not for young children due to small parts and somewhat fragile nature of a collectible figure. ... Read more

WOW
Ever since I was little kid, the P-51 Mustang represented the ultimate in airplanes. This aircraft model is very well done and features many items the first one did not include. The pilot is highly detailed and the aircraft features weathering which only adds to the realism. The hamilton standard propeller is right on the mark in terms of the detail. The landing gear is very nicely done and so are the drop tanks. Hanging from my ceiling just on the six of a ME 109 it looks as if it is only moments from scoring another kill!. Overall, the realism is almost on a level unheard of in a item available at the toy store. Oh, it is very durable. Just be carefull of the antenae mast just aft of the canopy. Great detail on this toy
Bought this for my eight year old who likes all things GI Joe. Very pleased with the detail on it, he has lots of books from his Grandfather and will often compare the toys with pix of real soldiers.This seems to have met with his approval.Don't really know how durable it is, we've only had it a day, but it looks sturdy enough to endure the "lets throw it down the stairs and see where it lands" type of play.
